Foreign Missions
The Church of God MPGT is dedicated to spreading the message of faith to all corners of the world. We offer foreign mission trips for our members to reach out to those in need of spiritual guidance. Our foreign mission trips provide a unique opportunity to witness the power of faith and to learn from those from other cultures. Participants will have the chance to engage with the local community, gain a deeper understanding of the faith, and share the blessings of the gospel. We believe that our foreign mission trips are a powerful way to nurture spiritual growth while also providing aid to those in need.
The History of the Ministry
In 2007, Pastor Millender and the COG, MPGT Springfield, Ohio, began outreach responses to Kenya in
Africa by sending messages via CD's and email, in response to Bible Study questions from the Kenyans.

2015: The first response was provided by physically traveling to Africa in response to what Pastor Millender named: "The Macedonian Call" by asking the Executive Board if Elder Waverly Jackson could accompany her. (He had traveled with another organization prior). The Board of MPGT agreed and helped them to fly there and provided financial support for the Mission.
2016: Pastor Millender graduated the class from the school that developed as a result of the teaching of the gospel. She discovered they were using the Sunday School books that her church had previously sent. The books contained 52 lessons, in 1-year volumes. They studied using the books and series as their curriculum.

Here are the number of students that have graduated beginning in 2017.
-
2017 - 80(+) students
-
2018 - 100(+) students
-
2019 - 60(+) students
-
2022-23 - 35 students graduated, defeating covid-19 obstacles, having forged forward.
All graduations were held in Runyenjes, Kenya with students meeting from Nairobi, Meru, and Methuria and Tharaka.
The Board named Bishop Jackson, "Foreign Missions Diocesan" over East Africa from our organization. After 2018, he began making the journey alone and for much longer periods of time, as he was busy teaching the doctrine, rules and bylaws of the organization. Pastor Millender's ministry was teaching the gospel, and hoping the schools were teaching the gospel to each student after she was gone with the understanding of the word of truth.
